Community guidelines
These guidelines have been developed to create a safe online environment for participants to make constructive contributions for the North Melbourne community.
The NAC website is hosted and operated by Harvest Digital Planning on behalf of the North Melbourne Language and Learning.
By using this website, you agree to comply with the following guidelines:
Be authentic and honest
Only make contributions that you know to be true. You must not include any misleading or deceptive material.
Be local
Only post locally focused content, relevant to the community of North Melbourne and its surrounding suburbs.
Don’t spam
Please ensure that the comments you post are relevant to the topic or issue being discussed. This is not the place for personal politics.
Be respectful
Please be respectful of other users and their opinions. It is okay to disagree with a comment, but do it in a way that is respectful and explain why you disagree.
Follow the law
Do not post content on the NAC website that is:
- personal information about any other NAC/community members.
- offensive language including profanity or comments that are considered defamatory to a person's character.
- discriminatory of people's gender, race, religion, culture, sexual preference, appearance or background.
- illicit or otherwise illegal material.
