Applications for the VicRoads Indigenous Secondary Scholarships, 2018 Intake, are now open.

The secondary scholarship program is a broader initiative of the VicRoads Indigenous Employment program. We aim to help build capacity within our communities by financially assisting students to complete their VCE.

Employment pipelines such as traineeships, work experience and ongoing employment into VicRoads are also available through our Indigenous Employment Program, should the students wish to explore those opportunities.

Who can apply:

All students who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander commencing years 10, 11 or 12 (or equivalent) in 2018, studying in Victoria.

How to apply:

Student's simply need to complete the attached application form, answer the questions to the best of their ability and obtain the required references.

We encourage parents, community members and teachers to assist the students with their application.

Scholarship contents:

Recipients of the scholarship will receive financial support from 2018, through to the end of their VCE studies as per the amounts indicated on the application form.

Deadline & how to submit applications:

The deadline to submit applications is Friday 17 November 2017.

Applications can be forwarded via post OR email. Address details are at the bottom of the last page of the application.

Please note that it is a competitive process with only a limited amount of scholarships available. The selection panel will meet late November.

Selections made by the panel are final.
